Methodology, sources, and limitations

Calculation model

Calculations run locally in JavaScript using the inputs and units shown on each page. TrueCalco does not transmit calculator inputs to a server. Displayed results are rounded; intermediate floating-point arithmetic may produce small differences from specialist systems.

Source-of-truth policy

Rule-dependent financial and health calculators must identify their formula, variables, assumptions, review date, limitations, and primary sources. We prioritize government publications and regulators over secondary summaries. A source link documents the rule used; it does not imply endorsement.

Review and credentials

A page names a professional reviewer only when that person has actually reviewed the methodology and their identity and credential can be verified. Until then, pages state the review date and source review without claiming professional verification.

Rates and changing rules

TrueCalco does not claim live market data unless a page explicitly identifies a live source and retrieval time. Tax, Social Security, lending, and similar tools are simplified educational scenarios. Each rule-dependent page states its applicable year and exclusions.

Health and nutrition

Population formulas such as BMI and BMR are screening estimates. They cannot account for every medical condition, body composition, medication, pregnancy, or individual need and must not replace clinical advice.

Entertainment tools

Love, zodiac, lucky-number, numerology, friendship, and life-expectancy tools are recreational. Their outputs have no scientific or predictive validity.
